An exceptional 1971 Levi’s Big E denim trucker jacket, made in the USA and selected for Our Grail Collection.

Dating from the final years of Levi’s legendary Big E era, this jacket features the highly sought-after red tab with the capital “E” in LEVI’S — one of the defining details of early vintage Levi’s and an increasingly collectible piece of denim history.

Made from classic blue denim, the jacket has developed a remarkable natural fade and patina over more than five decades. The beautifully irregular wear across the body, sleeves, seams and pockets gives the denim a depth and character that can only come from genuine age and use.

Classic Levi’s construction throughout, with two pointed button-flap chest pockets, tobacco contrast stitching, Levi’s branded copper-tone buttons, adjustable back waist tabs and the original Levi Strauss & Co. – San Francisco, Cal. – Made in U.S.A. patch.
